Lately, my life has been filled with so much joy! You wannaaaaa know why??!! I've been stepping out of my shell, doing stuff that I normally wouldn't do! I have been pursuing my passions and enjoying the ride! I'll let you in on a little secret ... many people think that I'm an Extrovert, but honestly I'm an Intro-Extrovert! Sometimes doing new things isn't exciting to me, and my nerves and anxiety start to swell!

But one day I thought, "man ... I'm really missing out, and I just need to swallow the uncertainty and just do!". I also thought, "what if I start doing things for others instead of myself?". Go to things that I know others will be at, go to events to support others, and just network through it all! I've been trying really hard to network more in the music industry, and I believe it's paying off quite a bit!

At the start of this month, I had 9 concerts marked on my calendar! So far, I have gone to 4 (this week I have 2), and I love getting to see people do what they love! Plus, here in Nashville, you NEVER know what you're gonna hear! I've been here for nearly 2 years, and because of my new "drop the shell" attitude, I've been exposed to so many talented musicians that I've NEVER heard of!

I've noticed that people care about people who care about them! I know, I know,  that sentence sounded like common sense and completely redundant, but IT'S SO TRUE! I even talked to one guy at a show, and he said he had heard of me ... HOW WEIRD AND AWESOME IS THAT? He said he's seen my name around social media! Totally not what I was expected him to say!

I'm not sure if you're aware, but I am finally putting out some of my own music! At first, I had a bit of trouble finding people who just wanted to create music, and create it for FREE!! Side Note: I'm on the #brokeaf budget life! You probably just read over the word FREE, and was like "ummm what?". Trust me, I totally want to pay people, and I believe they deserve it, but at this moment, my music is more of a test project, and I'm just looking for souls who want to dabble and experiment! [ I DO buy dinner though! I REPEAT, I DO. BUY. YOU. DINNNNNNER! ]

And now that I've been hitting the town and becoming friends with other musicians, it's amazing how many people I have met who really do want to help me! I never would have thought that supporting someone could mean so much! So if I can supply any advice for you, it would be this:

Try something different, and just see where that takes you!

There are people out in the world that want to share their life you! They just simply want what they give you! Go spread love, and happiness around the world!
